The Pragmatic Programmer

This week I was recommended a book titled The Pragmatic Programmer: From Journeyman to Master, written by Andrew Hunt and David Thomas in 1999. As a person often preaching about the importance of quality, defined structure and why one should always should think one step ahead, and also one generally interested in the project processes, this book was for me a must-read.

The Pragmatic Programmer sheds light on many core topics regarding software development, responsibilities, processes and techniques important to improve your skills and will most likely help out in the success of future projects.

As the authors state, this isn’t a book you must read front-to-back, but instead it’s divided into self-contained sections, each discussing specific topics. Much recommended for anyone into software development as well as project management.
